FUBAR in Denver: Libertarian Party Sticks a Barr up its own Ass
The libertarian party made a major departure from its core values by selecting Bob Barr as its presidential candidate yesterday (May, 25th, 2008). Barr is a former US attorney and republican congressman that was a very strong social conservative supporting policies such as the war on drugs and heterosexual-only marriage. Libertarians choose Lawyer Barr as Presidential Candidate: Choice leaves a bad taste in the mouths of many libertarians
The libertarians choose former U.S. attorney, Bob Barr, as their presidential candidate at the national convention today in Denver. As the results were displayed on the convention floor there were strong boos heard among from the anti-Barr contingent.
