Dan Kilo for Colorado Governor 2010 » give money
give money
I am not asking for campaign contributions. First off, this means that I don’t have to file reports with the government but, most importantly, my campaign is targeting those people that have been affected by the miss-deeds of the criminal justice system and those people do not have a lot of spare cash. Additionally, I am running a pure grass roots campaign and large amounts of cash are not necessary.
However, please consider donating to one of the organizations below:
Advocates for Change is a fledgling organization made up of mostly middle-aged women who have sons, grandsons, and husbands in prison. They are gallantly fighting the injustices in the department of corrections in Colorado. They have a lawsuit pending against the DOC and they need about $40k to cover the costs of the suit.
Colorado CURE is an affiliate of the national CURE organization and is working for good changes to the criminal justice system in Colorado.
The Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Coalition
This group—also run by a few middle-aged women—is trying to stop the exponential growth in the state prison population.
The Colorado Libertarian party needs cash to pay for everything from rent on their small office to outreach materials for high schools.
If I were elected Governor, President or Jefferson County Dog Catcher I’d appoint all the scholars from CATO I could. CATO should run the country. See: So You Wanna Be Rich: Bill Gates and Warren Buffett give it all away for the public good, Maybe
Thanks for your consideration,
