Here are a few questions I have answered for the press:
How can you help improve the economy? Limit the size/scope of government. The problem is not that Coloradans don’t produce enough for our economy to be healthy. The problem is that the Colorado government (and feds) takes too much away from the economy to be healthy. Less government will solve our economic problems here in Colorado.
What’s the most pressing issue facing Colorado? Out of control government growth and spending including the infringement on Coloradan’s rights by the criminal “in-justice” system.
Your favorite book? “The Fatal Room” by D. Eric Maikranz (currently not published but excellent!)
What is your favorite song? Currently it is: “I Was A Teenage Anarchist” by Against Me! I went to the show this July 26th. Green Day and Foo Fighters are excellent too. Alt is good.
Tell us something unusual about yourself that few people know: I am a pilot and an avid backcountry skier (beacons, shovels and all!) and a vegetarian.
Who is your hero? My father, John Locke, Thomas Jefferson. Also Trey Parker and Matt Stone. I cannot believe what a job Matt and Trey have done with getting the libertarian message out there than with South Park. 14 seasons and running. I tell everybody, “if you like South Park, you are libertarian.”
